The Omni Trade Drug storage project was designed by 3G|Contects as a hangar in the special industrial “Free Zone” district near the Queen Alia International Airport. The design of the hangar was applied the standard regulations and special provisions of the Free Zone in addition to the typical warehouse layout. The hangar is located between two streets, one for attendants of the hangar with a 30m width, and the other for industrial services (loading and unloading) with a 40m width. The facades were designed for ventilation in the east and west directions. Natural lighting has been achieved by sky light. The layout design contains cold storage for drugs which need to stored at low temperatures. Overall, the design of the Omni Trade Drug Storage hangar was informed by the standards of the Free Zone and accomplishes the necessary requirements of the owner.
